We have already drawn conclusions of the possibility that Dumbledore could be God, Harry could be Jesus, and Voldemort could be Satan, but there are many other possibilities of other connections:

1: Lily Potter as the Virgin Mary: Mother of Harry, the Messiah, her son did become the "chosen one." Also, not to mention her name means Purity.

2: Peter Pettigrew as Judas: Judas is the ultimate traitor of all time as he betrayed Jesus which ended in his crucifixion. Peter betrayed Lily and James to the Dark Lord which ended in their death.

3: Ronald Weasley as St. Peter: St. Peter is the closest of friends to Jesus and ultimately becomes his successor with the keys to heaven BUT during their trials he on multiple occasions denied his divinity and leaves. Ron does the same thing with Harry in Deathly Hallows, abandons their quest but ultimately returns and is forgiven.

4. Neville Longbottom as John the Baptist: Both thought to have been the chosen ones but it ended up being Harry Potter/Jesus.

5. Hermione as St. Thomas: Hermione is a very logical thinker and person, and believes in facts. St. Thomas is known as the "doubter" for not believing in Christ's resurrection.

6. Ginny Weasley as Mary Magdalene: Both very devout to their leaders, and closest female companions in the end. Mary Magdalene was the first one to see Jesus' resurrection, as Ginny was the first one to notice Harry's body being carried by Hagrid.
